CD old review

Hey guys Surfing the web I found this review of CD, from a guya wich I dont know, I think is worth to take a look.

 is from 2008 , but there are some interesting points to read.

His analysis is a spotty on the simplest of facts, for example, even my dog knows that Mr. Brownstone is about heroin.
So if his observations are that brain dead then why should I lend any credence to his kindergarden logic and opining?

I quit reading it when he said that Better was "not good". Clearly he has no idea what he's talking about on the whole.

There are certainly flaws to Chinese Democracy, I'm willing to admit, but all of his comments come off as a jaded jock douchebag pounding away keys on his super rad Mac computer in hopes that each keystroke will further surpress his latent homosexuality.

Why was it totally inappropriate? If he's gay I don't care, it's his life.
If he's not then why should he be offended? Are you carrying the white man's burden of feeling offended for others?

That's why there are very few genuine voices left these days - we expect our sinners to be saints, our rockstars to conduct their lives as the fans dictate, and other ludicrous expectations.

I will not oblige to such censorship, no sir! If my comments were disrespectful, uninformed, or hateful in any way I wouldn't have posted them.
But I refuse to fall prey to the self-righteous PC culture. Read again and maybe you'll see the forest through the trees.

I never really care much about what critics say. Nobody ever erected a statue of a critic, after all. The guy who wrote this review seems to have struggled somewhat with the new GN'R sound. Yeah, it's tight, compressed, overloaded with effects and occasionally it feels like there is too much going on ... but that's the charm of the album as far as I'm concerned. "Chinese Democracy" is gloriously, knowingly, purposely self indulgent and totally overblown. I really like the album and defend it as a decent GN'R album.

meh, i've read much worse reviews on CD, atleast he bothered to mention the songs, unlike some reviewers who just mentioned that its just Axl and how long it took, without even bothering to talk about the actual material
