i listed examples of rightest policies above... and nobody adheres to them.  what is so hard about that for you to grasp?  it was my entire point

well no, it wasn't the first chance you've had to respond, when i posted that you were in other threads posting but conveniently avoiding mine.  i guess nobody can refute my statement that we have no right in either govt, so i'll go ahead and drop it because i'm obviously in the wrong forum

I dont see why naming individuals would even be relevant? Name a whole bunch of policies and see which side they are more in keeping with, that would be a more accurate method. State Capitalism, Religious influence, Anti-Communist,  Support for social order and Globalisation, Capital punishment... You dismissed foreign policy earlier. Well, i don't. I think US foreign policy falls firmly to the right side of politics. Of course there is some crossover to the left on some of these issues. No doubt. I've given a small list of policies that are traditional, generally speaking, of the right in politics. There's a strong case, i think, for each to be applicable to the US.

seeing as the UK has a conservative/Liberal coalition government, the results - policy - you'd expect the fall pretty central. Ignoring who's in office, because your original post didn't say "there's no... in power atm", there's decent enough support for ring wing parties like the BNP, UKIP... The BNP had 2 MEPs elected last year. They may not be in office, but that's because people don't want them in office.

I can only really point to policy. Im not going to list every policy, that would be stupid, just as it would if you listed every politician. If you think there is only a left lite in the US, and you except (do you?) that policy is often quite far to the right of public opinion (i used NHS as valid example), are you suggesting that the people of the US are incredibly left wing? That's a hard sell if you are.

what exactly did you mention that i avoided?  state capitalism?  i assume you mean state run capitalism, which is obviously leftist policy.  globalization?  leftist   capital punishment?  that's not an issue of right or left, it's bad policy, it's an issue like abortion that doesn't apply to right or left

Clearly you contradicted yourself by saying there was only left wing politics in the US and UK. It's alright, everybody makes a ridiculous statement from time to time when they're frustrated. It's cool. Just accept that what you said was silly and move on.

Wouldnt Pro Abortion be considered a rightist issue? I would think pro choice i.e. pro control of your body is to the right. Left would be the government controlling your right to choose.

between work breaks etc... i popped on here quickly and posted in a couple of threads that id glanced over. When i had more time i posted in here, quite clearly. My post are there, you cant dispute that too!
