More images from the alternate Chinese Democracy booklet have leaked,Street Of Dreams is the same as the single cover, and a new Sorry Automatic Rifle!

The Street Of Dreams section in the booklet uses the same art as the single that was shown a while ago.

It seems a few copies were released somehow in America when the album came out.
And the images have been popping up gradually for a while now...

For those interested, these come from the member Axlrosecaliornia, from someone called JJ, he's supposedly in a deal with someone to get us the General and Silkworms too........and apparantly the 15 second leak we have on youtube of "all cautions made...every chance was given" IS in fact Checkmate...
Let's see what happens...

Are these really alternate artwork or have people just taken them off the artist's website and Photoshopped them with a GNR/Chinese Democracy logo next to them?
I know the star was used in promotional videos for the albums plus on a poster but not on the cover or anything.

I know for a fact that this is fan-made. The single used the star but it didn't have "Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy" going up the right side.

This is sorta real. They took the grenade on the T-shirt used it to cover the bike.

Positive this is fan-made.

I believe a guy admitted to faking this...

Really? I like the fairground pic, it's a hell of a lot more marketable than the bike, too, you look at a bike and think "wow, bikes are old, it's a pretty dull cover" but the fairground is like "wow, this is festive! I want this!"

The bike against the wall just became the symbol of CD for years...and I always related it to the cover for ages before the album came out. It's an unusual album cover I agree, and not one that will go down in any 'best covers' books...but I think it works better. Fairground pic would have been great inside the inlay, along with all the other leaked artwork (real and fake) shown here. I was heaps disapointed with what we got in the end. Barely any art, wrong lyrics, boring bandmate shots...

yeah, booklet was a fail

around the time of release, they were saying that would be rectified, i had a pdf of the booklet before album release and the word was it was a fucked up run (not claiming to be an insider, i just got given that from a guy on msl site, that is all).
however 2 years on, no re run with fixed booklet, no alternate covers
hell not even the tab book
it aint happening now

The "GUNS N ROSES" spray-paint across the wall was a sign of rebellion and fearlessness to act against the Chinese Government. It is a message of freedom, hope, and indeed, Democracy.

It links with the album title perfectly. Although the colours hardly make it the most appealing album cover in the record shop!

I just fished it out and it's not exactly the same as I said, it has Guns N' Roses up the right hand side but instead of Chinese Democracy, it has "Chinese Democracy/Shackler's Revenge" and instead of the background of that bit being black, it's grey like the background in the main picture. Got it free for preordering the CD at HMV. Don't have a camera to post a pic but sorry for the confusion, I thought it was exactly the same as that, it's only slightly different though

The spray-paint always seemed like something that would of been cool like in the 90's.

Am I the only one thinking that Chinese Democracy is a way of saying "America Today" - Remember Axl saying the "How Are You Grenade" was his favourite - On the grenade it says "Good Morning America".. Thought-provoking in my opinion..

Also, for those who have an interest in symbolism - The two "bloody hand" pictures could refer to "The hand that feeds" or people clinging to the "belief of good" as general motif - With regards to symbolism one reminding of the "Religious/Jesus" hand gesture;

and the other one seems to be inverted 666 therefore becoming 999 (a divine number);

Don't know, I believe that it is a universal language and I know it is used in alot of art....
