FEMA Camps
« on: November 14, 2010, 11:19:54 PM »
So I stumbled across Jesse Ventura's Conspiracy Theory on TV the other night, and apparently there has been all this conspiracy kookoo talk for years that fema and the DHS (homeland security) are secretly (or semi not secretly) have been building camps around the U.S. that resemble the concentration camps built by the Nazi's.  The claim is that the government is setting up these camps in order to herd the sheep when they are able to declare martial law. The other side is that the camps are to be in place should a national emergency, I.E. biological or nuclear attack, earthquake, or any other large scale disaster occur. The camps would then be used for medical help and hospitality purposes.

After watching the show I decided to take a look and see what I could gather online. There is some kooky stuff out there, but really I cant seem to find any solid proof of these camps other than a youtube video and what I saw on the show (which is actually a immigration holding center), which wasnt a lot, but enough to catch my interest. There is said to be like 800 hidden in plain sight in the US, but again I have seen 2 which have been publicly acknowledged for years. The whole thing is very interesting, and really makes me think about the power of our government due to some recent and not so distant past laws that have been passed.

Anyhoo, just figured I would see if any of you smart chaps knew about any of this, because apparently it has been talked about for years, and what you think. Here is a couple quick links that might catch your interest.

JESSE VENTURA'S CONSPIRACY THEORY S02E04 - POLICE STATE, FEMA CAMPS...Part 1 of 3

Heres a link to one of those kookoo sites, which I have now been reading. Has the rest of the show and some discussion points on the issue- http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread629772/pg1

Hey I know its crazy talk, but if you actually look into it, the 2 guys who signed off on it cannot be reached to comment or act like the bill to enact them does not exist. Ive posted for years here and dont think of myself as a wacko, but this shit makes me think a little bit.

why do you keep degrading the people who try to defend your liberty as "crazy talk" and "kookoo sites" when it's obvious they raised questions in your mind.  there will always be the majority who want to give more money to governments and expand their power in the name of social justice, you are finally waking up to that fact, but pro-govt leftists rely on low info people like you to label truth tellers as "wackos" to pass their horrible legislation

anywho, you've picked the wrong forum for a debate about politics, most of the posters here are euro, retarded, or more concerned about animal cruelty videos.  if you told them the FEMA camps were for puppies and not humans, this thread would be 15 pages already

Maybe my wording was a bit off. I was mainly talking about some of the sites I've seen where  people post topics saying the government is trying to brainwash us with cocopuffs. If you read my post properly, you would see I said this particular subject, IE the one brought up on the show, is making me think, and actually interests me. Common political talk does not, because it is always the same recycled bullshit as it has been from the beginning of time.

I said crazy talk because that is what it sounds like, but in the next sentence, which you must not have read or are not able to, I suggested looking into it, because there is some points of interest. However, the government attacking its own people to strengthen its hold on our freedom, I dont think they would stand to gain anything, like it or not they still need the general population to represent their interests around the world and to keep their machine rolling.

I wasnt really looking for a giant political, left-right debate, there is already 8 threads about that. Really I was just hoping for some opinions on fema camps, if people think there is merit to the concentration camp aspect, if there are really 800 being set up under the radar, and if our politicians and troops are on board with it. I didnt realize I had to spell it out to you to avoid a healthcare debate.

Really, someone who cant properly read info in a post calling someone low info? For the most part I label politicians as wackos, and tend to listen to any insight I can about government corruption without disregarding the source as "wacko". Though instead of blindly listening to conspiracy theorists, I also like to actually see what they are basing it on rather than agreeing that Will Smith is a robot sent to brainwash whitekids into liking the black culture via Fresh Prince of Bel Air because the person stating it is anti govt power and has a blog.

tru tv erased this from their scheduled re-airing and removed the listing from the episode guide on their web site.  oh well, at least you have this thread to prove the show ever existed

Because Europeans aren't concerned about their rights and liberty?! Get your head out of your ass. Us "EUROS" also like to protest, if you paid any attention to..say the Copenhagen Climate Change convention '10, where people(some of them were in my class, got some detailed stories) were arrested or cuffed for no fucking reason, for protesting or posing some fictional threat to Obama. They were sat down on the freezing Scandinavian ground for several hours in the middle of Copenhagen without anything to back it up, the law enforcement were given the OK to cuff anyone for any reason if they believed they posed any kind of "threat". Because of something they supposedly believed in and stood for. My point, there was an outrage throughout Europe, people were not happy. Most Europeans are also concerned about their rights. And please, how is it a debate? When proven wrong people start throwing insults. if you go into it already decided that everyone else is wrong, because they're Euro, or vegetarians or whatever. You're way, believe it or not, is not the only way. Stop being so goddamn ethnocentric.  F this, I have a con law exam to finish. Eminent Domain Powers, I'm about to seize your property, build a Fusion center, it's for the greater good, the government will transfer it to me for a buck. kthxbie.

I was just about to post this, that makes this whole thing a bit creepy, if this was just some nut conspiracy why wouldnt they discredit it? I just watched police state 1 (thank you), and saw the fusion center right bang square in manhattan being used to detain protesters 10 years ago. It was an old bus station.

Seriously folks, pay attention to this. I know Polar comes across like a jerk sometimes, but there is merit to his beliefs and stance on government.

Rocket Queen, I was defensive about his comments on me, but the more I look at it the more I accept that he was right. There are people who care, and are informed, obviously you being one of them, but it is very strange how these types of stories are forgotten about, like the one in copenhagen you speak of. I never heard a thing about it and am glad you mentioned it.

I dont think he was saying all euros dont give a fuck, but that the masses are mysteriously ill informed on events like you speak of. Not only was this episode pulled from TV, but Youtube and Google banned Alex Jones from their search engines because of the backlash from the Jesse Ventura show.

Understood. My brain has been hurting since I started reading about this. Look up Police state 1 through 4 when you get done with school. Watch the movies, Alex Jones is on to something, and it is scary. My belief in left or right or republican vs democrat has been eradicated. This whole NWO talk seems to be coming to fruition, where everything the govt does now helps only the govt. Seriously, scary shit. I hope none of this is true, but there is some fucking evil people in the world, any one of them could be your congressmen.

not only the government. Mostly big business, corporations, financial institutes, conglomerates. They need a strong government to sustain themselves.
