I've seen a few people say that they used to love the rumours/speculation/leaks before CD was released, i did too. i think it made CD fascinating, the whole album and band had this mysteriousness to it,  it didn't hurt that the music was good too i suppose...

So if sean will allow it, we can keep all guessing and discussion about GNRs next album in this thread

When do we think it will be released? its name? will all the songs be finck/brain/bucket era material?
what are we hoping for?

well this is more about the album anyway than general plans

i'm hoping it'll be released late '11-'12, but then i'm realistic, '19-'25 is perfectly reasonable too, ax.

well, it really needs to be 2011, because the buzz for the band is there. I think the record company has it already. It's surely 2002 era band. I wouldn't be surprised if we've heard bits already! We heard If The World and Prostitute as jams in 2006 and 2007.

I am hoping for next year (but i doubt it), and this time I hope they do it properly. Interviews with Axl and band on tv and in magazines, proper publicty, a kickass video for a really kickass single, delux edition of album, dvd etc

Axl should have done it properly years ago...and he doesn't have time on his hands anymore. I am sick of the constant negative slant Axl gets in the music press. But he's his own worst enemy.

But whatever happens, it's going to be fun.

well if you believe axl, which can be hard but..he didn't promote it & videos weren't made because of Azoff trying to sabotage CD. now that he's out of the equation, i don't see why axl wouldn't release a music vid.

he did seem to love his vids in the 90s, so i think he'd still be keen on doing some. interviews on the other hand...

Okay, I'll play the game with you! Take away The General from the setlist, because according to the great Sebastian Bach, that song will end up on the third album. And you have the same song twice, because Leave Me Alone is the working title of Soul Monster. And Daddy, Can The Devil Do Mommy And Me will probably end up on Axl's solo record. I doubt Oh My God will be on the next record either, because GNR doesn't seem to be taking that song very seriously at the moment. They're just messing around with it.

But go ahead and add Berlin to the list!

i'm willing to bet if they release another chinese democracy era cd it will have the general on it, i know axl allegedly said that 3rd album thing at one point but if they ever actually release a third i'm sure it'd be DJ/Bumble material. fair enough the rest, tho i doubt axl would ever get around to releasing a solo cd

isn't berlin also oklahoma, which was actually riad?

Yeah we'll just have to wait and see about the third album or the solo record. Oklahoma was the working title of Berlin, but Riad N' The Bedouins has nothing to do with that song.

lol yeah, i'm sure really it was more axl than irving
