actually, you started the personal attacks.  but who cares, now that i know you're still a little kid  [edit BP}
classic your a little kid so automatically im better than you and your opinion means nothing argument. I'd expect that out of you polar. And me saying I think your post was crazy is not a personal attack. Get a thicker skin if you think that criticizing your posts is insulting you. Your the one who decided to really go after people and insult them and their family polar, not me.

Honestly, not that your stupid or anything, but I support the young people dont know shit theory, cause I was the same way. Thought I could do things better, thought my way was the right way always, etc...I still dont think I know shit. Every year, I look back and remember how stupid I was the year before, and how much more I know now.

Not saying your dumb or anything like that, sure your a smart kid, but trust me, I see kids all the time between 16ish and 24ish who might be smart, like iq wise, but in all reality they know shit about how things are or how the world works.

PS, that doesnt have anything to do with this debate in particular, just in general. Take a look at the work place, 99 percent of kids I see come around are terrible and feel entitled not to do shit. K, maybe like 95 is more accurate.

its your opinion, but I am not pretending to be a know it all. I am debating that's all. Like when Mooney sends me stuff/posts stuff that argues against what I am saying, I read/watch it and my opinion changes. I only don't let Polar tell me shit because he has been a huge d-bag the whole time about it. If you can be polite and respectful I am perfectly willing to have my opinions changed, I am sure I don't know it all or much at all actually. In all honesty though I haven't agreed with Polar much anyways because little of what he says consists of anything outside of how stupid I am and how he can't be bothered to explain why to me.

With all due respect Mooney - I didn't misquote anybody. I quoted Sean's post word for word.  And nowhere in that entire post - or his subsequent posts - does he express sympathy or any concern whatsoever for the victims of the shooting.  His argument is that nobody he knew was hurt - and that people get killed everyday. Please show me the part where he states he cares about the victims and feels sympathy for them.

His exact quote - on this page - "Just as thousands are getting shot in the head in our war,  most people are not giving a shit and don't remember their names if they happen to read about one or 60 that died that day. We have greater problems than 1 fucking asshole with a gun that went mental." .... Again, he doesn't care about the victims of the shooting. And I just think this is a cold and callous way to live your life - not to care about others - even if they're not your friends or relatives.  It's also a naive and short-sighted way to live as his friends and relatives could be the next victims if people don't look at the bigger picture and the events that led to this shooting. jmo.

Call it what you want... but you chopped up what I said, left out the next sentence which clearly said I cared about all people and my point was I don't care about the headlines is what I was talking about. I stated that I agreed with a post that stated the fathers wishes because that is what I was doing.  You are too numb to even know what I was talking about, but it has nothing to do with what you are saying.   And you never answered my post that pointed that out. You look like an idiot.

Again, I didn't watch Obama's speech (I only heard he made a good one).  I have not read one article on this matter outside this forum. I have not seen any pictures.  Not one.  I don't know how many people got shot. I don't know if the shooter is even still alive.  I don't even know his name. I heard Howard Stern talk about a little girl that got shot and she may recover and I thought to myself... 'hey great'.  I heard he was rejected at walmart for buying bullets (maybe from this thread).   I pointed out already to you that I chose not to get involved with knowing this tragedy because there are many to read about instead.  I know ... what a senator got shot??   I'm suppose to care more now?  and get involved with this one incident just because its THE news now?  while:

5,860
Total Fatalities  (American Soldiers)
Operation Iraqi Freedom: 4,419
Operation Enduring Freedom: 1,441  <<<< forces killing many more

How many of these people do you know their names, how many did you forget?  How many did you cry for or brought up a 10 page discussion discussing his or her death.

And that goes for my point for any other DAILY TRAGEDY that crazy people commit everyday. I worked in a building as a computer engineer that was a maximum security prison for the "Criminal Insane". It split up into 8 wards.... each for the level and type of criminal and crimes that took place. I walked everyday and all day from the jail doors in and walked passed each ward to ward 8 where my office was.   I  have seen and witnessed people everyday and read their crimes... seen their faces everyday and these are the people that commit a lot more gruesome of crimes as some fuckface with a gun that shot up a few people. These stories don't get media headlines. The truth is this is nothing new.

But I know I'm talking to a wall right now. You already decided to cut up my words and already decided to make yourself look like an ass.

How could I express sympathy anymore than I already have if I know nothing about it?  I chose to read other issues. I chose not to be lead by a media storm from CNN on this one.  I actually read up on some other issues that kills far more people than this incident and my concerns are deeply personal about. Sorry I'm not so main stream sweet cheeks.

Great thing about this is now politicians have to use the word destroyed instead of killed when speaking in a public forum. Would you rather be killed or destroyed? This is utter bullshit, and you know who is gonna have to watch their rhetoric next dont you? What a plan.

Srry I came off kinda harsh, didnt mean you were stupid or that you are wrong no matter what, just that as you get older you will find it tougher to listen to younger people without some sort of self realized prejudice. Course there are your smart ones, and you seem to have an open mind, just that people in general are dumb enough and age doenst help.
