Can you outline where I stated the objective was to put Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal before Diddy in the iTunes charts? You fabricated that intention yourself.

This campaign is to get people buying Ron Thal's releases (with a look to securing a place on the iTunes chart). This initiative then will be repreated for the release of “Invisible” and his summertime EP until we get to a point whereby Ron is either positioned on the charts (album and/or single) or is fairly close.

The flyers thing might be a little too much but I don't find it impossible. All these charts are not based on total sales so there is a possibility for someone making it into the top at least for a week. It was never about surpassing any artist.

We've decided to intensify and widen the campaign.

Not only is it out intention to rapidly increase the sales of Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal's latest endeavour “Bernadette” but we also feel it is appropriate (in terms of thanking GN'R for the amazing 2009/2010) to get “Sweet Child O' Mine” (which is presently at #7) at #1 in the iTunes rock chart.

“This Is the Life” by Amy McDonald is at present champion of the iTunes ROCK song list. Consider that point for a second. Not Guns N' Roses, not Van Halen, not AC/DC, not Aerosmith, not Metallica, not Nirvana, not Black Sabbath, not Iron Maiden etc. etc. etc. Have you even listened to “This Is the Life”? Is such a song really representative of the UK rock listening population?

Where are all you rockers? Did you all leave the planet when the 80s drew to a halt?

This it it. We have the perfect opportunity to reaffirm our support for Axl Rose/Guns N' Roses by putting one of the most iconic hard rock songs of all time at #1 and sustaining that position for as long as possible.

Who hasn't (let's be honest) been totally enthralled by “Sweet Child” upon hearing it? Who hasn't floundered about their bedroom with a hairbrush (at least once) when Axl starts the “Where do we go now?” bit.

It's a rock, 1980s, travel memoir inspired by Guns, Kerouac, Hemingway etc.  The 1980s lost generation in Europe, which should be quite relevant to those feeling rocked up and disillusioned down at the moment.
