Sure.

Dancing with Dogma: Thatcherite Britain in the Eighties by Ian Gilmour

Scathing assessment written by someone who was in Thatchers first cabinet. You'll read this and just shake your head page after page....bitch was out of her mind.

Thanks for the suggestions GGS. Not to be an asshole but I hate reading books on the computer lol. I don't plan on printing out 402 pages for that one book you posted. I will find it somehow.

No problem i'm the same but the dudes books are like 45 or 50 for second hand copies now a days.

I just like them because the guy is ex KGB Secret Intelligence and knows what he is talking about and it gives you a view of how the Cold War and like parts of plans made sixty years are still ongoing today like the EU and stuff, he had Thatcher and Regan asking him for advice at one point.

Don't get me wrong I like all the books Nemo and others have recommend as well and own most of them. I just find personally like you have got to read both sides of the divide in Politics to get the full picture.

Leviathan by Hobbes is a good book but it's like saying you need to fly in the Wright Brothers Plane to understand flying or Drive an original Model T to understand driving.

It was the foundation but basically today everyone knows the whole, The state is a body, we are the cells that operate, religion is a body we are the cells that operate it, ideas are bodies that need we people as cells to operate it etc. etc. so really do you need to bother especially unless your interested in seeing the original foundation for alot of modern stuff especially the idea of the state being all powerful.
