I get the impression from the fact that the Libyan population is revolting that they will be happy with anything which will help them beat Gadaffi. Thats what I meant by the motives part, maybe I phrased it wrong. I was just saying that when it comes down to it, whether the nations intervening are helping for their owninterests or not, the Libyan rebels want their help.



That is the "impression" you will get from reading the right news sources.
