any Korn fans?
« on: September 21, 2011, 12:34:51 PM »
Yo, I heard about Korn doing a concert this november in nyc? i didnt even realize these guys were still touring

I noticed it on facebook - apparently theres a Sony sweepstakes giving away some free tickets for the concert and an afterparty to meet the band or something........ facebook.com/SonyEntertainment

i've heard these guys are really good live?  can anyone confirm this who has seen Korn live?

They are good live, not great. at least not anymore. I went to their Evolution tour but seemed like everyone left the venue after evanescence opened for them. Anyways, they sucked even since Silviera and head quit the band. Untitled was their last "good" album. Korn III sucked major balls. and im not buying this new dubstep album.

all i gota say is

common Korn you used to be cool what happened?
-oh yea religion found your guitarist.

I saw them supporting GnR on their Australian tour, and they were really fucking good! I am sneaky Korn fan (I try not to let me metalhead friends find out), and I was really getting into their set. It felt like 1998 all over again.

YES! I posted this in the dubstep thread earlier but these tunes are pretty much my favourite releases of this year... and I'm not even that into dubstep.

Cannot wait for the album!

I wasn't the hurrily one minding other people's choices, you know, Axl used to listen to Public Enemy whatever.

Dubstep is brilliant. Nothing will ever beat rock, but still, dubstep is pretty fucking good. Once you scratch away bad-boy gangsta image, the music is glorious. Seriously, try the other thread. If it helps, close your eyes and listen, it'll probably demonstrate my point.

This album cannot be released fast enough!  :D

I know I was seriously jealous! Korn are definately my favourite of all the bands I've yet to see live (that I'm able to).
