Would you like it still?

I listened to LULU twice the whole way through and...... what a FUCKING MESS IT IS

It's just Lou Reed repeating himself over and over while Metallica play demos that were never meant for released behind him

So i know some of us (i'm guilty) love anything GNR does no matter what but i dunno how i could accept this into the GNR catalogue

Well I don't hate LULU as such... I'm a bit indifferent at the moment. But if it was GN'R I think I'd be even MORE disappointed with it! Actually I'd be gutted.

That said, if it was GN'R I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy the 'background music' a hell of a lot more because it's more my thing, and I'm sure it would have Axl's influence all over it, either vocally or otherwise.  There's no way in a million years they would let it be this... iffy.  They'd have more of a 50/50 (at the very least) say in things.

But yeah to answer your question if it was GN'R I'd hate it, but I wouldn't hate on them for doing it if THEY liked it.

In other words, this would be the current GNR line-up with Axl replaced by a(nother) psychopath shouting about being the table. What could there be for GNR fans to complain about?

Give it 30 years and it will be one of the biggest cult classics the world has ever known.

What are your current thoughts about Kurt Cobain?

I've skipped through LuLu and.. from what we've read back in 2008, Axl might do some solo stuff that's "different" at some time. Most probably gonna be some Johnny Cash approach, though.

Horrible, horrible album. All parties should be ashamed of this shit. Sounds like Lou Reed reading poetry while Metallica rehearses in the next room. Axl wold never put out shit like this.

Renton: Lou Reed, some eh his solo stuff's no bad.
Sick Boy: Naw, it's no bad, but it's no great either. And in your heart you kinda know that although it sounds awright, it's actually just shite.

IT'S ACTUALLY JUST SHITE
