I guarantee this wasn't the first time it happened.  The child isn't very shocked by it. I hope she taped it. The camera is positioned perfectly to where abuse had to be taken place before this one.

2004: Aransas County Court-At-Law Judge William Adams took a belt to his own teenage daughter as punishment for using the internet to acquire music and games that were unavailable for legal purchase at the time. She has had ataxic cerebral palsy from birth that led her to a passion for technology, which was strictly forbidden by her father's backwards views. The judge's wife was emotionally abused herself and was severely manipulated into assisting the beating and should not be blamed for any content in this video. The judge's wife has since left the marriage due to the abuse, which continues to this day, and has sincerely apologized and repented for her part and for allowing such a thing, long before this video was even revealed to exist. Judge William Adams is not fit to be anywhere near the law system if he can't even exercise fit judgement as a parent himself. Do not allow this man to ever be re-elected again. I haven't seen it on any news networks yet, Anderson Cooper (360) are holding a special on child abuse tonight, I'm guessing it's fueled by this video, posted on reddit and a bunch of other sites.

It's texas though, so who knows what will happen.

Real or not, there's far too much of this shit going on in the world.  It's beyond me how people like him believe they have the right.  It's madness! I just hope they all realise how wrong they were in the end and suffer with it.

But good for her for standing up to him!  I really hope it will make a worthwhile difference...

Oh man, this is like a perfect circle here. Assholes like William Adams contribute to the fact, that some righteous people are getting disillusioned with disgust, alienated by what they've percieved as the world and as society and persuing dark and rotten paths in the end -- since they just can't help the vivid sensation of being backstabbed by the nearest stranger. Maybe we gotta apply some common sense here. Or grow some common sense, in fact.

Officer Coon said of the rodney king beating tape - "it all depends on how you look at it" - for example, if you rewind it, it looks like they help him to his feet and send him on his way. I suspect this is much the same.

It's obviously real, he admitted it on live public radio.

Hopefully they will take that admission of guilt into account in their investigation. I of course support a detailed and fair investigation. His daughter seems like a strong, smart individual that is not driven by anger, but by compassion and hopes to rehabilitate her father who is clearly not mentally healthy.

Not to get all personal, but I know how it is to have a father with a temperament and some psychological issues, that is what happens when you let your internal fury get out of hand and don't seek help in time. Scary.
