Just one question. Had Murray been a drug dealer, not legally licensed, would he  have been charged with distribution of illegal/unprescribed naroctics? On the flip side, do drug dealers get charged with manslaughter if one of their junkies OD?

if I punch you in a fight and by a freak accident it kills you I'm not going to get the same punishment as Mike Tyson would. It's the old power and responsibility thing. Same with the doc.

Gotcha. I was thinking he would get more of a term then 4 years. Not only was he accountable for manslaughter, but also for the illegal distribution of a controlled substance, though I suppose this was an isolated incident.

He got 4 years in jail. the maximum punishment for this trial due to his lies and his blame towards Michael.
