I don't if some of you have noticed, but they're not sounding that good right now...If you look closer, Ashba is not really in practice, Dizzy's getting lost in rhythm and playing at some points(Estranged and This I Love), and Axl is still/again Mickey Mouse sounding...He has the rasp but at some points like the main parts in Estranged where he has to sing the heights he's still in Mickey Mouse mode...At least we can hope it is cause the tour is getting toward the end... :) :smirk:
Honestly these soundboard audios dont do it justice. Have you been to a show this year? I couldnt believe how crisp he was and how many notes he was hitting. The only song that was more mickey was SCOM when I saw them. Watch even some HQ Iphone boots of the same songs at the same shows and you will notice a difference. For some reason the rasp just doesnt always come through on the soundboards.

Perfect example us This I Love from LA. Sounded spot on, rasp and all when I saw them in Camden, and I have watched like 10 or so boots as well. Live and Let Die on VH1 TMS was the same, sounded pretty mickeyish, yet another soundboard audio. On bootlegs and when I saw them live it was completely different.

You could be right about the tour coming to an end though, but really I dont think thats the case, especially since he had a good rest before the LA show.

As for the band, I have noticed a few little quirks here and there, but nothing to get upset over. I think he missed an entire verse on November Rain in Camden, that has always been the nature of GNR. Sometimes we get perfection but expect a thing or 2 to go wrong.

i must say that the US crowd´s very booooring and calm :p not like european or southamerican crowd.

dont take this wrong though =)
Have to admit I was a bit lame myself.  Was rowdy the first couple times I saw em, but this year just got a nice little buzz goin and soaked it in. It seemed like alot of people around me were doin the same. Lotsa people in there early 30s and up just enjoying the scene.

I think i apologized to every GNR member on behalf of the Irish people on that tour

It was Robbie's 'sorry about Dublin' tour 2010. If GN'R play Ireland again it must surely be down to your diplomatic efforts.

If all irish people were like our good friend robbie, the world would be a better place
I could wile away the hours
Conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain
And my head I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain

haha well i have no problem travelling to the North of Ireland again to see them
The thing that killed me is that the Irish people ruined it on themselves
I know it was only a minority but it was embraced too much

ps
I miss Fenno

I believe that this show is the biggest milestone in GNR's history. Even bigger than the Chinese release.
Ask yourself.

Slash played well, but Robin wrote Better.
