The official announcement is as follows:

GUNS AND ROSES CANCELS SHOW

Albany, NY – Times Union Center officials received word today that the Guns and Roses show scheduled for Wednesday, November 23rd will be cancelled.

“Due to production issues beyond the venue’s control, Magic City Productions and the Times Union Center are forced to cancel the appearance of Guns N Roses set to take place on November 23, 2011. We apologize for any inconvenience,” said Stu Green, Magic City Productions.

Refunds for will be available at the original point of purchase beginning immediately. Tickets purchased online through Ticketmaster or over the phone will automatically be refunded to the credit card used.

Ya I hope Ron is doing ok! His tweets lately have been down and sad like he is dealing with lots of pain with his back! Hope the rest helps him! The fans appreciate the work and effort he puts in every day! And quite frankly the band wouldn't be the same without him

I thought they had a show there next, and it wasn't on my shirt, then I thought well maybe that show was added after the shirts were made.  That is a real bummer for those planning on going. Didn't know Bumblefoot was hurt.  Hope he is feeling better soon.

On a serious note, I have heard everything from poor ticket sales, to bumbles injury, to the late starts, etc... Who knows, at least the notice came a day before the show. Sorry Albany fans, hopefully they will be back around.

I noticed that on mine, too, and thought the same thing.  I feel bad for Albany not getting to see them, especially after we had such a great show in Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.  Whatever the reason is, I hope all will be back to normal soon and everyone's health is okay.

CB: You guys canceled a show this week. Is there a story behind that?

RF: In Albany? No. There was no drama or anything like that. There were permit issues with the building and the venue. We have a huge production and it is very heavy. The production, it has to be supported and we have to feel safe about it and it has to be within their restrictions and that didn’t work out. They tried to resolve everything. We have had this issue a few times in different venues and it has been resolved and we were just not able to resolve it there.

CB: So no issues this week and we can expect you in Cincinnati?

RF: Yeah. It wasn’t like anybody was sick or having a meltdown like that.

CB: Or anger?

RF: There was no drama.
