It must be a relief not to have to answer the dreaded "When is 'Chinese Democracy' coming out?" question anymore.

Yeah! It came out [in 2008]. And it [expletive] got thrown against the wall like an old plate of spaghetti. [laughs]

You don't think "Chinese Democracy" got a fair shake?

Hell no. No record ever gets a real fair shake anyway. It's just one of those things that you live with.

Now everyone is probably asking when the next album is coming out.

Everyone is asking me that question. I don't know. There's talk of doing some recording in the new year, getting some songs together. But that's just talk. Let's get through the tour and see where things end up.

Tommy didn't promise anything neither did DJ....where do people come up with these stuff?
However, there is a possibility og GNR performing maybe 1 or 2 unheard songs maybe close to the end of the american tour, perhaps in vegas...that show might be interesting the most.

I've seen them all say things about new music but this was the first time I'd seen anyone say anything about an actual planned time to go and do something about it, sorry!  But if it's been said before then hell, thats even better

axl has so much unreleased stuff that all the band will need to do is tighten the songs up, but with this been gnr u never know.....there was talk in 2002 onwards n CD came out in 08.just give us cd2 / legend of the red panda

I'm not English nor American but I don't understand the same thing as you guys.
Tommy didn't say anything like : We will work on the new album in the new year and get it together as soon as the tour is over.

No, he just said THERE IS TALK and that's just talk of getting SOME songs together and they will see WHERE things end up.

Basically : He doesn't know anything.

Remember they still have to work on the better music video first

I won't expect anything new before a couple of years.
What about a live bluray of this world tour ? Would be nice and it would help to have a bit of patience.

ya never know with guns....seems the band r up for recording but axl's kept quiet....as for vids from cd they should just use live recordings from this tour....simples
