Its not as much about the hat, or the clothes...

Its more about "Guns N' Roses".

One of the songs this band sang the most when they were just starting out, and one of the songs that meant a lot to them because of the music world they were up against was..

Sure the dude dresses the part on stage, and sure he might stick his middle finger up and smoke a cig on stage but... really? Really?

A lot of the new band members are actually ANTI what Guns N Roses was about but whatever, its a new band, yada yada yada and yes, I get it.

But still...

I'd rather have these guys being duggies and hating each others guts before and after every show YET, putting on the greatest, real, rock n roll show of all time..


Than this great group of musicians who have the best rock n roll voice behind them and can make beautiful complicated music.

And thats just me. Call it living in the past or whatever but what RnR needs is not the group of musicians.. what it needs is Guns N FUCKING Roses.

For instance... the last thing I wanna hear when I'm drunk and blasted in a bar is TWAT or even Chinese Democracy..   I wanna hear Nightrain and Its So Easy.

I'm not sure if any of that makes sense to any of you because of your lifestyles, but to those who know what I'm talking about...

Shawn, if anyone on this forum knows what your talking about it's me. I would probably cry like a bitch the day I saw all five of those guys back together. That being said even if it was to happen I don't think it would ever again be like the old days. They are all sober now and have familys and honestly how many bands have captured lightning in a bottle twice. I just hope that IF they ever reformed they would acutally put out another killer album as well as tour instead of these nostalgia act tours alot of the other old school bands do.  And speaking of this lineup I do think it's the best one since the originals and they have the potential to make something better than CD. I mean when I saw Axl back in 01 with the goth guy and some dude with a bucket on his head it made me sad. Ill take Bumble and DJ anyday over those guys. At least now it does not look like a circus act and it's always good to hear and see Axl.

Perhaps if we kidnapped the origional band.  Locked em up in a room with a bunch of heroin, coke, jack, and whatever else...

And refused to let them out until they recorded one more album.

Course we don't wanna hear Twat drunk.  Shacklers ain't bad tho.  You want to hear Mr. B. if you're doing it, you wanna hear Nightrain if you're drinking and you wanna hear I used to love her if well....

Go watch the HOF show.  It's as close as you're gonna get.
