A new music startup called "Switchcam" is algorithmically recreating concerts by stitching together fan footage. The video is all synced up to the exact second so that you can switch camera angles and still be in the same moment in the concert. Dont understand how this hasnt been done years ago with proshot quality for every live show, people would surely drop a few bucks to see some stuff online. This is how far behind the curve the music industry is.

Porn. They should do it with porn. Being able to move camera would avoid all the shots of the hairy bobbing man ass and the shots of men who look like they're drinking vinegar through an invisible straw.

Rock music would be a decent shout too though I guess.

Yea I think Ive seen a few things from different artists. I think porno has been doin this for years lol. My point was more that in this day in age there is no reason why everything couldnt be out there all the time, if people can take their I phones and do this why cant giant companies like clear channel and interscope come together with a plan for total accessibility via the internet for all of their live acts.

@Robbie Would you want to be able to pin down one audio source while changing the video or what?  I think an HQ audio overlay would be amazing, but probably difficult to program...

I haven't been able to try it as I'm on my phone, but it seems to me that one consistent audio source is essential.

look, it was stuck on that camera. I'd already paid my money, so I thought I'd just have a whack at it from that angle. It's not the journey, its the destination.

actually, you could switch between songs to get the best source. even offer a choice of sources for each song and let people rate them. but to change audio source at the same time as you switch video won't work.
