why did robin leave just before cd1 was ready to hit bestbuy stores in november 2008?

so far, we haven't had an answer from robin. we haven't had answers from axl either

i know robin wasn't around when cd1 was available in bestbuy stores. why did robin leave?

i checked a robin finck site. they don't give answers on the site either

i can't find the answer anywhere. so does a fan know why robin was out of the band around the time cd1 was in stores for purchase?
