I really really hated Pet Semetary.

Yeah it was really scary and stuff, but that ending was so uncool.

ok, now i'm reading "the man who mistook his wife for a hat"

it's by some psychologist, and it's a book of true stories about the most unusual cases of visual aphasia he's seen in his job, it's actually pretty funny

The truth is, in America, we don't read books.  Hell, we can't even read.

But that's ok, 'cuz we got the hot dogs.

Just finished V For Vendetta, a graphic novel by Alan Moore (He also did The Watchmen). Now I'm back to finishing Ulysees by Joyce.

Highly recommend V for anyone that hates the gov't. And if you are an anarchist, the book should be perfect for you. Don't even have to like comics to get into this book. It's very well done.

hey Broke! Happy to see you

I just read some Joyce ...  Did a paper on Araby. I put a lot of thought into the short story. I found so much in so little pages & wrote about the not so obvious...  So I got a B on it because the teacher says I didn't concentrate on the obvious  :laughs2:  like love.  I don't agree but whatever...

What are your current thoughts about Kurt Cobain?

Axl: I said I'm going on ChiDem now and he said whatever & walked away other than that I've been busy.

Good seeing you too, BP. I love Araby, it's probably my favorite complete piece by him. I do have other scattered bits from Portait and Ulysees that I like more, but as far as a complete piece, it's number one for me. I even use a variation of the closing line about vanity in the book I'm writing now.
