I am like the opposite of Patrick Bateman, in A.Psycho.
I LOVE live music. For every song sounds better live than studio.
Not limited to Guns n' Roses.
random songs that i already like studio, i will look for a live version and listen to it.

i don't know some times its not as good live especially if you are used to the studio version... if you know it extremely well and then you here the guitarist miss a not it kind of bothers me but other than that i really like live versions just as long as they don't screw up

As long as it's not Milli Vanilli, I prefer it live.

i especially like when they screw up :) _ i mean the gnr screws up (lyrics, sound ...)
basically if it's too close to studio, it's no good.
bowie's last dvd is good example, of good live sound.

diva; Milli Vanilli ? Ice ?

Love live music.

Music is MEANT to be live. You feel related to the band when they play it live because they are playing it for you.

im not saying you guys are wrong, but i think people read too much into live music being all personal, i mean they make the cd for you too... and if you argue that the cd is just for money, its not like the concerts are free.....

i love live music, but i still believe that studio music can have great energy and feel, i dont like live cd's, but i love live shows

some bands suck live. A lot of bands where the singer plays guitar are boring cus he just stands at the mic and sings and plays. This isnt true for all bads, ex. Kiss.

very true, recently i bought a pearl jam dvd and i found it broing because on most of the songs eddie played rythm guitar and when he didn't he just stood there i was extremely disappointed, but there is no such thing as a boring kiss show

What the fuck makes you think it's meant to be live?

I like when bands change things live, extend the songs add bits an improvise on songs in general. Live is great. Live and very loud!
