nah. I don't believe in it. I am me now. I am me because of my memories and past exeperiences. If i had someone elses past experiences and memories i would be them, not me.

And why would birthmarks be a sign of how you died in a previous life? The body is merely a vessel and has no connection to the spirit/soul/whatever that is carried over from one life to another.

I remember some of my most recent past life, I think I killed myself trying to cheat fate, and also the "in between state" when you realize your in between and you didnt get out of karma then the hierarchy( the counsel for the great cosmic ONE) and the return back to hu man....I just wondered hehe if anyone else re-members things in those kind of ways? hehe

I could explain in grand terms, but i won't. Thats why i dropped psychology.

The simple answer is people, subconsciously or or otherwise, make it up. Either that or the therapists plant ideas in the patients head. If you're willing to take part in the therapy, you want to be told about a past life.

It's like that "crossing over with jon edwards" crap. If somebody wants to believe they were napoleon or abe lincoln in past life thats what they end up thinking when they leave.

De Ja Vu is a preven chemical phenomenom. It happens less with age; cant remember why exactly.

It's still cool and freaky and very convincing, but it can be enduced in a laboratory.

Ive had alot of hypnosis done on me as an adult, in fact I became a Hypno-Addict because Trance is so fantastic, but my memories began at a very very young age but then my "real dad" was an occultist so he may have brainwashed me this could be true, I am not convinced they are real I just have them hehe...memories I mean...so nobody else has them?

Yeah I could believe that but theres been documented cases of people speaking fluent in languages that they don't know while in regression therapy sessions.
I dunno...just something to think about...

Imagination is responsible for whatever people (past life-wise) see in regression therapy. You can call up real memories, but "past-lives" are manufactured images based on the contents of your brain.

When you're hypnotised you're under the influence of your subconscious, and that's manipulated by parts of the brain that are never used. Do you have any idea how many things you've seen in your life that have been stored away and will probably never be remembered again ? The act of "forgetting" is physically impossible.
They can be classified as useless information, and when your active brain is sedated by hypnosis, that "useless information" begins to work.

But yeah, my belief in time as a physical quantity automatically allows for the existence of past-lives. I don't believe it is possible for a Psychoanalyst to reach into your past life, but a Psychic probably could : and it wouldn't involve hypnosis.
