Old GNR or New GNR?

This may have been asked a trillion times, but i havent seen what you all prefer. Old GNR or New GNR? Ill go both, because i think the new stuff can rank up with the old stuff easily (i.e. Madagascar). And Robin Finck is just like Slash, he has the chops and everything. It used ta be all '87-'94 GNR for me, until i watched RIR3.

The only new player I would put in the old band is Richard I think he could easily fill Gilbys boots and his image loosely fits in with the old bands image

If what i said sounded like i was saying Finck was better than slash, thats not true. Slash kicks everyones ass, old or new band. But what i was mainly saying was that Finck come in very close to Slash when it comes to talent. Thats just what i think

Studio - Can't tell yet, but Oh My God shows that Axl ain't kiddin' around at the studio n' just imagine the new songs we already know well recorded!! By the way, Axl said that they're holdin' their big guns for the record, so what we know... hehe, it's just the beginning!!!! Maybe it's like hearin' You're Crazy n' Anyhting Goes n' then hear Jungle n' Sweet Child! I believe that after Chinese Democracy's release, most people will lean into New GN'R simple as GN'R n' will forget about all this "old" n' "new" shit. Will be just GN"R again !

Live n' Visual - New GN'R - Robin  doesnt remind me of anyone, he's very original  n' Slash can be easily seen as a copy of Joe Perry, the hat thing came from T-Rex n' Alice Cooper, n' we can't forget about Zeppelin, etc. About the rest of the band, I'm very much pro the new guys. Richard looks like a mix of Izzy n' Tracy Guns but with a difference - he PLAYS n' KICKS ASS!!
Tommy is much better than Duff at the stage. Brain has the feeling Steven had n' much more tecniques then Matt both combined in one. It's the Dream Band !!

Comparin' Robin n' Slash ain't fair. I agree. Slash ain't nothing compared with Robin.

i agree on a lot of what you said, but not all of it.  brain is amazing.  oh my god is definitally one of my favorite GNR songs.  but i like you're crazy.  so mabye instead of you're crazy and anything goes it's like think about you and anything goes.  but if the blues is like think about you, i can't even begin to comprehend the greatness of the other songs.
