Dizzy is "quoted`" as saying ealy '06 by Mongrel's frontman. Bear in mind that it is second hand news as Adam Savage didn't get this directly from Reed. But it's interesting news anyway.  :party:

Punk band, Mongrel, recently supported Dizzy Reed on his recent September tour.
We asked Mongrel guitarist, Adam Savage, whether Dizzy had given him any juicy information on Chinese Democracy. He told us, "(I) didn't get to talk to him much. I heard he told a few people that Gn'R is still alive and that the album should be out in early 06"

Malibu News recently reported that Axl Rose told a fan the same information regarding the release date.

man - they always say it "should be out..." blah blah... I wouldn't be surprised AT ALL if it WAS true. Axl himself has said similar things b4. Doesn't seem to matter at all anyway - just say it should be out late 06 if early 06 rolls around and nothing happens. I was reading an old Zeppelin article and how Page was asked if he felt that he could take longer with records than he did. He said well of course he could have taken however long he fucking well pleased since zeppelin was so important, and the record company would have obliged, but it was about professionalism. and they were professionals - getting records done on time. pick a fucking date GNR and stick to it!! that spontaneous what you get when youre under pressure shit usually turns out pretty hot for bands! god! forgive my frustration - too many little rumours this past little while. they're annoying as shit. making me feel real dumb about caring at all about stupid little snippets cuz if I'm honest to myself I'll admit that I do care. I shouldn't fucking care though! unless there are big solid announcements made by the band. This whole mysteriousness around the band that's so fucking "intriguing" is no good for me I think. yes GNR is a very singular band indeed.

if you've ever heard the live version of estranged from uhhh...before UYI I/II were out he said Use Your Illusion I/II would be out in july.  they came out on september.  i wouldn't neciscarily say never trust axl, but he's never 100% right.

ummm...i think it was a 89 interview, axl and bach called in and erin was on the phone for alittle bit too...i used to have it on my comp, but i think i deleted it.
