I think he's a great guitarist, but one thing i can't take about him is his singing, its too boring for me.  I also can't take alice in chains singing

One of the best guitarists on the planet IMO....I love his playing and his band Black Label Society.

He's a fucking crazy ass. And that's what makes him so good.

Shredding and emotion...his best work was with Ozzy.

Although he did kind of murder one of Randy's finest riffs with pinched harmonics.

I like black label society too, but i agree with shredding and emotion.  He has the greatest tone of any guitarist i have ever heard in my life.  No more tears is one of my favorite solos of all time, he conveys shredding and emotion perfectly.

The ending lick of No More Tears is hard shit to play.

I've spent hours trying to learn it when it got tabbed in Total Guitar 6 months ago.

Can play it slow, but to do alternate picking and slide up the neck....bah.

Zakk is my all time fave! a fucking legend.....if anyones gonna knock his singing then check out his southern rock band pride & glory....he sings great on that...its like metalised skynyrd man WOW!

I like very much Zakk Wylde and his group! his riffs are really fuckin hostile! exceptional his tecnique! but i don't like his solos... they are like scales with armonics played really and only quickly but that have nothing to comunicate and in relationship with the rest of the songs! for metal solos forever the best was only Dimebag Darrell! Goodbye Dime!

I got a clip of him and Slash doing Voodoo Child.
One thing.

Zakk should not play the blues.

Its no biggy. Ive got a friend who shouldnt play rythym. It starts of good and goes to speed scales.

Other than that, hes pretty good. Just not my style of music.
