about a half hour ago I was listening to WMMR Philly Radio. Slash did a pretty kool interview live because VR are doing AC tonight.

Slash says he can't wait to hear Axl's new record in March. The host says..  wait so Chinese Democracy is coming out in March?

Slash says the album is done & that he has been told many things over time, but this really sounds like it's coming out in March. He sounded really sure so I thought that I would share that at least.

Another highlight was that he doesnt blame Axl at all for the Vegas "red flags" for him not being able to attend. He said he doesn't think Axl had anything to do with "instagating" that & that it had to do with his Manager.

He also said the whole "feud" thing between him & Axl is just media hype & people just talking it up & said there is really no bad blood between them. & said he hasnt talked to him in 10 years.  Also called the media sad for saying false things with the plastic surgury, pluggs stuff etc etc.

Take it for...  well you know.   ;)  sounded convincing though so i'm simply passing on.   -BP

I believe Slash. But not about the record. And I wonder if it was Axl's "manager" who gave those public rants against Slash on the 2002 tour. Hope they've made up. For old times sake.

Interesting piece of news, I'd love to hear a recording of the interview if you could get one. I look forward to a reaction (if any), from Axl. But I doubt he will.

That's not what he said right after the shows took place. He was calling Axl a bitch etc because he wasn't allowed in.

Oh yeah sure slash! That's why pretty much every timew you do an interview you always have some fucked up thing to say about Axl and you are continously sueing him. Sure no fued there!

News spreads quick.. I underestimated or I would have written it better.

sure it's funny Slash gives a release month, but he sounded convincing. When I said above that "heard many things over time"...  I meant that  he said in the context that he has heard things before from people, but this time it really looks to be March. & that it is done. He mentioned March a few times (at least twice & assured when asked again). It's interesting cuzz it's Slash & yes he could be in the know.

He talked a bit about the musicians & that the only one that he never met was Buckethead & that there is a "Mystique" with him. & that the rest were talanted musicians that he has come across during the years. Said nothing bad about Axl but actually made a rewarding comment about him being a great frontman.

Talked about Eric Dover & explained that he simply wasn't a frontman & that he didn't like to be one.   Sorry I can't quote everything exactly as I was driving in traffic.
