Theres been alot of people who have trash talked axl because his voice isnt the same as the illusion days.   I think that his voice is awsome,  yeah it has changed but come on its been 10 years and to me his voice is still better than any other singer Ive ever heard.   What do you guys think is his voice better now or does is suck?  O)

Why ohh why.

Check out the radio clips from the tour.  New studio songs = Raspy old school axl with more maturity.  Live songs  are a lot cleaner.  My guess, is unlike the illusions tours where he practically must have murdered his throat, he's grown smarter on where he choses to expend his raspiness.  I think that on the album he'll use raspiness where its called for and the clean voice where its called for.  I hope live he will conserve his voice so that he can record the next two albums with no problem.

I agree because you can definatley tell the raspy voice is still there its just that he only uses it like in certain songs or even just one show.   You can tell though that his voice is much much more powerful now,  when he hits that high note in blues it can blow your eardrums out

From the ones that I have heard, and that I have downloaded Osaka kicks ass. Axl has alot of energy and his voice sounds really cool.

madison square garden is the best.  pukkelpunk or pukkelpop is good, too.

pukkelpop was the best performace by far, by axl's voice standards.

and what jimb0 said, is correct.

i think the car one was the last.  i wish some one had gotten one from the bmw incident.

hopefully 2006 will be a year of axl out and about opposed to the isolation he choses due to his eternal hatred for the press.

yea, the intro to wttj on 2002 mtv vma awards (the latest video of him i have =/) he uses his raspy voice, and in other parts, he utilises it damn well... but i gotta admit, when i first heard it, i thought his voice was fucked, but listening to him other times.... jimb0 couldn't have said it better :)
